Biographical

Greg Vaughan is a mediator and attorney with over 20 years of legal experience serving clients across South Alabama. He is a registered mediator with the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution and is licensed to practice law in both Alabama and Florida.

Over the course of his legal career, Greg has handled a broad range of civil matters involving construction defects, insurance coverage claims, business and contract disputes, real estate and property damage cases, and personal injury litigation. Having represented contractors, homeowners, banks, healthcare providers, and individuals in both state and federal courts, Greg brings a balanced perspective to the mediation table. His work has included complex, multi-party construction and insurance cases, high-value personal injury and subrogation claims, and homeowner–insurer disputes arising from storm, fire, and water losses. Drawing on this experience, Greg focuses his mediation practice on helping parties identify practical solutions that balance legal realities with business and personal interests. He believes preparation, respect, and clear communication are essential to achieving durable resolutions.

Active in the Mobile and Baldwin County Bar Associations, Greg has chaired mentoring and CLE programs and served as President of the Paul W. Brock Inn of Court (2022–2024). He has received multiple awards for professionalism and community service, including the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Leadership Award (2015), Ben Kilborn Lawyer of the Year (2016), and Baldwin County Volunteer Firefighter of the Year (2019).

Outside his professional work, Greg enjoys coaching youth softball and tee-ball in Fairhope. He and his wife, Duree—a devoted special education teacher—have three children, Tess, Ansley, and Samuel (“Bubba”).
